About Me

I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, on November 18, 1991.
As a small child, I loved singing, and was usually caught with musical instruments in my hands. By the age of three I was already intrigued by my mother’s 50 year old piano.
My mother played piano as a child, my father sings quite well and both of my brothers played either guitar or drums as kids.
I am the first person in my family to actually seek a career in music.
At the age of seven I moved to my home country, Slovenia.
At the age of eight I started piano lessons and soon started composing my own music.
My piano teacher would tell me many times to focus on the pieces we were learning, but I was always too involved in my music.
At the age of 13 I sang my first opera piece “Nessun Dorma” in a school play. From then on, I was sure music was the career I wished to pursue.
A few months later, I started private vocal lessons and my voice started improving. At the age of 14 I recorded my first CD called “Dreams come true” and a few months later recorded a single dedicated to a dear family friend of ours called “Say His Name”.
While in high school I attended multiple talent shows, weddings, birthday parties and sang my original songs.
At the age of 16 I worked with two bands for a few months, and organized their concert. I organized the venue, ensured their safety, the posters and flyers as well as the tickets. We had about 300 people come and see us. We sang covers and some originals.
After this concert I decided I wanted to move to NYC to pursue my dream in music. I was accepted to Manhattan School of Music and Mannes College as well as into the IBO programme so I could finish High School.
Due to personal reasons, I did not end up moving to NYC and stayed in Slovenia to finish my last two years of high school. At the age of 17 I was accepted to a music school in Ljubljana called Konservatorij za glasbo in balet Ljubljana.
At that time I was attending two schools at the same time. At the end of my high school studies, I applied and got accepted to my first choice university: Berklee College of Music.
After receiving my IBO diploma I moved to Boston to start my first semester at Berklee. I have met some wonderful people at Berklee and also joined a group called Rhythm of The Universe (ROTU). ROTU has over 200 musicians from 90 different countries and I was honored to become a part of it and thus become the face of my country – Slovenia.
On April 1st 2011 we had a concert in Symphony Hall in Boston and on September 11th we performed in the memorial for the tenth anniversary of 9/11.

I am continuing my studies at Berklee College of Music as a Contemporary Writer and Composer (CWP) major with a current GPA of 3.54, as well as also woking on original compositions and some future projects.
