Matt Knoegel is a musician and composer who specializes in Woodwind (saxophone, flute, clarinet) performance and private instruction. He has performed with and along side award winning musicians which include Willie Nelson, Herbie Hancock, Annie Lennox, Terence Blanchard, Joe Lovano, Cassandra Wilson, and Jeremy Pelt among others. He performed at the Grammy Salute to Jazz “70th Anniversary of Blue Note Records,” and the 2009 Grammy Music Awards.
He has performed at venues nationwide like the Nokia Theater, Regatta Bar, Spaghettini’s Jazz Club, Night Town Jazz Club, Rockwood Music Hall, The Bitter End, Hartford Convention Center, and the Wadsworth Atheneum.
Matt is a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a BA in Performance.
