About Me

I caught the music bug at an early age singing into a carrot (my microphone) for family members as a young boy. I can remember the first album I got at age 4 (The Joker by Steve Miller). It would be a while before I became a musician, but my love of music has been life-long.

By the time I was 16 I began to study music and play out with my band at the time, we were rockers! As I grew I began to listen to many styles of music (progressive rock, hip-hop, folk, soul, funk) and would imitate them on my guitar. In this period I debuted original music in the Waterbury, CT area and composed a score for a Greek play named Madea.

At 18 I began my studies with Joe Beck, a prominent studio guitarist who recorded sessions for Paul Simon and arranged music for Frank Sinatra. Joe introduced me to the colorful world of jazz. Around this time I also began performing as a classical singer and contemporary bassist. Since this time I’ve been an active performer primarily as an electric guitarist in jazz combos, pit orchestras for musicals, and general business gigs.

I arrived at Berklee in 2009 at the age of 20 to begin the most recent chapter of my life. Here in Boston I find myself an active hip-hop/soul/jazz guitarist and a Music Production and Engineering Student. I’m dedicated to music and look forward to seeing where the path will take me.
