Why am I writing this? To make a statement. Music is my passion. Ever since I was a young child, I always wanted to broaden the horizons of the violin world. I feel that each musician should have their own voice; their own style of music. So, this has been a personal goal of mine. Now that I am here at Berklee, I feel as though I have not only the power, but also the drive and the inspiration to meet my goals.
So far, I’ve reached some of my goals, such as hosting my own concert and making my first CD. As far as the future is concerned, however, I definitely want to expand beyond these goals. In the future, after I have graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance and a minor in psychology, I would love to travel around the world performing with different bands, become a studio session violinist, and become somewhat of a motivational speaker for children and teens alike.
