Linnéa Lundgren is a vocalist, clarinet player and songwriter from Stockholm, Sweden. She is currently studying at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
With vocals as principal instrument, Linnéa has been singing many different genres. She has a background in classical choir music and after that she has been singing pop, soul, jazz and folk, both as a part of a choir, a background singer and a lead singer. She has studied with great musicians from Sweden, such as Mattias Windemo, Roy Okutani, Jon Fält, Monica Yngvesson, and from the U.S. Jodi Jenkins, Becca Stevens among others. In 2003-2006 she was a part of the vocal trio SCJR with base in Stockholm. In 2009 she became the lead singer in the jazz band Plask, and in 2010 she has through Plask been leading a show for children with the purpose of expose them to improvisational music. That show is currently running in Sweden.
As a clarinet player Linnéa has been in the Nacka Symphonic Band orchestra who has participated in several festivals, mainly in Sweden and Greece. For two years she also studied Swedish folk music on clarinet.
Linnéas devotion and curiosity for music makes her constantly trying to find new sounds and ways to make her music develop. As we are constantly changing, the music is too.
