About Me

Nikola Stajic was born on January 5th 1993. in Cuprija, Serbia. Since he is coming from a musical family, in his early ages he showed interests in music. Influenced by his cousin he started playing piano at the age of 5, but at the age of 9 guitar took the place. Until the age of 14 he was a self-taught guitar player, when he got accepted to Stankovic School Of Music as a Guitar Jazz Performer. He studied with Danilo Karamarkovic and Boris Lemaic. In his high school days he got a chance to play variety of styles in different ensembles and bands. He recorded and performed with many well-known artists around the country. He won a GUITAR ART competition, in jazz solo guitar style. He worked hard and thought that one day he may become a Berklee College Of Music student. In 2009 Nikola was seen by four Berklee faculties who were looking for talents from all over the world. He got a full scholarship for Berklee summer camp in Perugia. At the camp he got a Full tuition scholarship for the Berkleeā€™s 5 weeks program for next year, where he got a scholarship for studying at the college. Shortly after that he meet Tommy Emmanuel, who supported his education, and awarded him with a presidential scholarship. Currently he is 5th semester at Berklee doing Performance Major for guitar, but also arranging, composing and managing his band that got selected for recording Jazz Revelation Records Berklee 2015 CD.
