About Me

Ida Khojandpour is currently studying in Valencia, Spain working towards completing her degree in Music Education. Being in a foreign country, without previous knowledge of the language, has not been a handicap but instead a beautiful challenge she has embraced. In Valencia, Ida has recorded a single, played in various venues, sang/beat boxed in the Berklee Valencia Choir and learned a new language/culture that she has infused with her music.

Since the beginning of her studies, Ida has been an active part of the Berklee community both on and off campus. She has collaborated with many musicians on school and independent projects co-writing, singing, or performing. On top of maintaining her studies and tutoring her peers, she has also consistently worked two or more jobs to support herself. She is passionate and motivated to succeed in every aspect in her life.

Before coming to Berklee College of Music, Ida was a very active member in her high school. She sang for Honors A Capella Choir and the Honors Women’s Choir as a lead soloist. She participated in the Central District and All State Choir for three consecutive years. She performed in numerous musicals and followed a passion in theatre. In her last year of High School she sang with three choirs, was a student assistant for the Freshman Choir, and interned as a music educator for choirs grade 5-8. Music really was pumping through her veins to keep her going.

Ida has been singing since she was a child and some might even say that she came out of the womb with a microphone in hand. She battled through many hardships and music was the one beautiful and soothing constant. Those experiences have made her the strong, talented, and hardworking woman she is today and guided her to her true calling: Music Education. She believes that every child deserves the right to a music education and has made it her mission in making that dream a reality.
