About Me

Aaron Gage is a 23 year old composer from Gaithersburg, Maryland. He has been playing piano since he was 4, guitar and bass since he was 7, drums since he was 14, and in the last few years has become proficient on cello. Aaron started composing symphonic pieces in his Sophomore year of high school, followed by performances of several of these compositions by his high school orchestra. A similar opportunity came along December of 2010 when Aaron was selected to have his piece “Vinayaka” performed by the Kalistos Chamber Orchestra in Boston. Aaron has been quoted in performances by such people saying “I’d heard he was good,” said one audience member. “But I had no idea how good until I heard him for the first time tonight.” Aaron spends most of his time playing piano and cello, constantly coming up with new musical ideas for new compositions. Aaron currently has several new pieces in the works with genres spread from classical to R&B.

Aaron also enjoys reflecting on the little things in every day life. Philosophy has recently become one of his passions. He lives life on the idea that life is a set of chapters; that every event we go through in our lives is just one more chapter in each of our individual books of life. People are naturally drawn to him when they are in need to talk to someone. He strives to always be there for the people he cares about, helping them through their issues in what ever way he can.
